*NOTE* - The locations given here are the main parts of town. There are still places on the outskirts to be invented in the plot.
Woodcutters village - entrance to Weretiger's village in forest.
Wraithenburg docks - A bad area of town to be alone in. Center of fishing and illegal trade.
East Tower - Origionally built to be the start of a city wall, this tower was all that was built, and stands against the clouds in tribute to another time.
City Hall - used for general assembly, and court. Often referred to as "The Armory" because of its large weapons cache to protect the city due to its growing trade.
Downs Stables - Used to keep you horses while in town (duh). Their grooms and stable hands will take care of your animal for a silver piece. Chip some extra in for extra good care.
Smithy - Home of Brychanus, the towns blacksmith. He is known for his skill at the forge, and his well made swords.
The Temple of the MODERATOR - The MODERATOR is the god worshipped by Wraithenburg. Often referred to as the King of cheese, because he conqers all cheesily-unfair demigods (called characters) and puts them into submission. All Characters must pay homage to him, or his mighty army of priests will strike them down, and if necessary, he uses direct devine intervention to meet his goals.
Merchant housing - flats for use by permanent residents. As long as you pay, no one asks any questions.
Town Square - used by merchants to set up tents to sell goods. Ususally bustling with activity. Most buying and selling of goods takes place here.
Oz (pronounced ah-zee)'s cheese shop - Stop by here to buy cheese as sacrifice (called tithe) to the MODERATOR. It keeps him busy.
Jurgen's tavern - Called Yurg's by the locals. The tavern is run by a nice man of about 30 named Jurgen, who is willing to give you a room for the night, and a stein of cold beer for a very kind price (I would know). ;)
Mathias Spices - A dealer in rare spices and (as his reputation has it) illegally joyful substances. Most commonly bought items here are rare liquors and tobacco.
Things to know about WRAITHENBURG.
The housewives love to gossip, especially Jurgen's wife. Few things can be kept secret from the Wraithenburg Sewing Circle for long...
There is a very primative sewer system. In tunnels under the thick earth, people fling their shit. The sewer is then flushed out by water taken from the Tiger River. Men called ditchdiggers are hired to throw in shit that didn't quite make it, and to dig ditches in the side of the road to allow the feces to fall into the sewers. Not a job for the educated or the posessors of any common sense.
The main diet of a Wraithenburger consists of bread, beef and water. Stews are very popular.
The men act like they run the town, but the Sewing Circle controls the men, who control the town, so in essense, the town is ruled by women.
